Our Guarantee: If you receive a builder or contractor estimate for the same project at the same location with the same finishes that is lower in cost than our initial budget estimate and can provide consultant-verified valid proof of this lower estimate, we will refund 100% of your initial consulting payment.
Conditions of the Guarantee:
- To be eligible for the 100% Money-Back Guarantee you must provide us estimates you have received BEFORE starting any services with DKNR or any of its affiliates.
- We will let you know before you start services and pay a deposit if we feel we can help you or not.
- You must provide a copy of the Licensed Contractor Estimate, on company letterhead or email, clearly showing the cost, along with any supporting documentation that demonstrates the estimate's validity. This must include project specifications, scope of work, finish schedules, allowances, and any other relevant details.
- We will review the provided Licensed Contractor Estimate and supporting documentation to confirm its legitimacy. If the contractor estimate is deemed valid and lower in cost than our budget estimate, the refund process will be initiated.
- The refund will be processed within 1 month of confirming the validity of the lower contractor estimate. Please note that it may take several business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment method. You may receive a check or direct deposit.
- This guarantee applies to the cost of the initial payment for consulting services ONLY and does not cover any additional expenses or fees associated with the project (including plans).
- We will compare our standard finishes, scope of work, specifications, etc. to the information provided and adjust accordingly. The review process may take time (15-30+ days) and will occur after we complete our initial budget estimate with you, our client.
- The consultant's decision and discovery is final and will take into account differences in project specifications, scope of work, finish schedules, allowances, and other relevant details.
- No family, friend, relative, or owner contractor bids are acceptable.
- There is no guarantee your adjusted budget estimate or your final, completed, detailed budget estimate is going to be within your budget after you make changes with the designer on plans, choose your final finishes, and gather all of your relevant information for determining your project's estimated costs.
- Budget estimates per SF without the specifications, scope of work, finish schedules, etc are not acceptable as they are almost ALWAYS low from a contractor to entice a prospective client to work with them.
- The guarantee is for the initial budget estimate ONLY using DKNR Standard Finishes and NOT for the adjusted budget estimate, prior kit clients, or updated budget estimates or full detailed estimates received later in the consulting process.
How to Request a Refund with Proof of a Lower Contractor Estimate: To request a refund under this Money-Back Guarantee with proof of a lower contractor estimate, please send an email to onboarding@dknrdesigns.com or contact our customer support team at sales@dknrdesigns.com. In your request, please provide your name, contact information, a copy of the contractor's estimate, and any supporting documentation.
Our Commitment: We are committed to delivering accurate and dependable services. If you receive a valid licensed contractor's estimate that is lower in cost than our budget estimate, we are more than willing to refund your payment in accordance with this guarantee.
If we feel we can help you and we go into the budget estimate phase and we are not able to provide you a comparable budget estimate according to the conditions above you have the choice to receive a refund of the initial monies paid or continue working with us at that time.
