1. Take the budget estimate number we provide you during our initial meetings for the finishes DKNR can get you quoted.
2. If our service fee (shell or full materials) PLUS the discounted quote on your materials is MORE than the materials number mentioned above, we will refund 100% of your service fee ONLY no questions asked.
Conditions of the Guarantee:
- To be eligible for the 100% Money-Back Guarantee you must provide us a basic geographic location of where you intend to build BEFORE starting any services with DKNR or any of its affiliates.
- We will let you know before you start services and pay a deposit if we feel we can help you or not.
- You must use OUR standard budget estimate and OUR standard finish selections or equal substitutes.
- You must be willing to use a hybrid style home design using combinations of our standard finishes, a redesigned plan for a hybrid roof and framing structure, and the reasonable level of finishes (at DKNR's discretion) for the home in question. (Another words it is highly unlikely you would use the standard finishes, stock windows, and a barndo style roof and framing items on all of the Maple plan).
- Although we often save clients 20-30+% off retail, this guarantee is not available on standard framing plans with wood trusses or plans which do not match with our budget estimating services (plans like the Willow - an earth berm underground home plan).
- The refund will be processed within 1 month of confirming the validity of the discount quote compared to our initial budget estimate materials DKNR can help get you.
- Please note that it may take several business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment method. You may receive a check or direct deposit.
- This refund guarantee applies to a comparison against OUR STANDARD budget estimating services ONLY for our service fee for the shell or full materials and does not cover any additional expenses or fees associated with the project (including plans).
- The initial budget estimate will be done ONE TIME ONLY after you have FULLY finished and completed the changes to your plans. Increases in budget regularly occur when clients change, alter, inacrease, or adjust plans and finishes. Extra costs will incur for more than 1 budget change and this guarantee will be void.
- DKNR's decision and discovery is final and will take into account differences in project specifications, scope of work, finish schedules, allowances, and other relevant details.
- No family, friend, relative, online, owner, contractor, etc. material prices are acceptable in the initial budget estimate. This is acomparison of your budget estimate and our discount quoted materials ONLY.
- There is no guarantee your adjusted budget estimate or your final, completed, detailed budget estimate is going to be within your initial rough budget after you make changes with the designer on plans, choose your final finishes, and gather all of your relevant supplier, subcontractor, information for determining your project's estimated costs.
- Budget estimates without the specifications, scope of work, finish schedules, a full take off, etc are not in any way guaranteed to be near your actual costs to build as subs and location specific .
- The guarantee is for the service fee ONLY using DKNR Standard Finishes and NOT for the adjusted custom budget estimate, prior kit clients, or updated budget estimates or full detailed estimates received later in the consulting process.
- This guarantee starts April 15, 2024 and is NOT valid for any sales, deposits, payments, etc for any projects, packages, or services started before this date.
- Nails, screws, caulk, tape, glue, and other incidentals are NOT included in budget estimates. Whatever is quoted is the ONLY thing included in the quote. DKNR or its associates are NOT responsible for missing items in quotes or takeoffs and it is up the the client , their subcontractors, and/or their builder to determine if the materials quoted are sufficient to perform the work needing to be done. Any missing items, non-delivered items, substitued items, etc, etc are NOT DKNR's responsibility and we are not the builders of your projects.
- Extra work above and beyond what is expected of DKNR and its associates beyond providing a takeoff and estimate, a budget estimate, a finish schedule, and a detailed budget estimate (for the client to fill out) will be billed at our then hourly rates if needed.
- Shipping issues, supply chain issues, governemnt lockdowns, acts of war, police actions, and local, regional, or federal governemnt mandates, etc, etc, etc, will automatically void any money back guarantee. DKNR has final say of what constitutes an issues.
You will be notified by DKNR if your project qualifies for a refund.
Our Commitment: We are committed to delivering accurate and dependable services. If your ORIGINAL OR UPDATED budget estimate is less than our discounted material quotes PLUS your service fee, we are more than willing to refund your payment in accordance with this guarantee and the conditions stipulated above.
If we feel we can help you and we go into the budget estimate phase and we are not able to provide you a comparable budget estimate according to the conditions above you have the choice to receive a refund of the initial monies paid or continue working with us at that time.
